ATN Membership Fees for 2008-09
Membership fees are unchanged and are as follows:
o RTO members - $440 (inc GST)
o Fully Partnered (non RTO) members - $1155 (inc GST)
Partnering Approval Fee
Each qualification approved via a partnering letter will carry a cost of $110 (inc GST) per qualification. This fee is charged once per qualification and is not an annual fee.
Partnering Administration Fee
Changes to the amount and system for ascertaining and invoicing Partnering Administration Fees (formerly known as Trainee Administration Fees) have been introduced from 1 July 2008.
As all members are now using Jobs Australia VETtrak, our national web based learner reporting and management system, Jobs Australia is able to interrogate the system to establish levels of business being delivered by members, as well as type of business (eg fee for service, public funded, etc). Through this system we are now in a position to invoice members on a monthly basis based on actual work undertaken rather than rely on member submission of monthly income reports.
Under the new system, Partnering Administration Fees will be generated based on the learner data that members enter into Jobs Australia VETtrak. Fees will be calculated at two stages of training:
· 50% at the three month anniversary of each learner’s enrolment; and,
· 50% when the learner is issued with a certificate/statement of attainment.
All fees will be based on a cost per full qualification or unit of competency according to AQF level and type of funding source as detailed below.

* The fee per unit of competency is established by dividing the qualification fee by the number of units of competency required to achieve the qualification, eg Certificate II in Business qualification fee $330, divided by number of required units (12) results in a unit fee of $27.50.
Monitoring and Evaluation
The levels of fees set out above per qualification and unit of competency are designed to achieve an average 15% administration fee per learner. These fee levels will be monitored in an effort to identify any anomalies which result in the imposition of higher than planned fees on individual members.
Monitoring will include comparing 2007-08 income generated from Administration Fees to 2008-09 levels, as well as feedback received from members.
Additions to Job Australia’s Scope of Registration
Jobs Australia will add additional qualifications to its scope of registration on request from a member. Members wishing to apply for additional qualifications must use the application forms and procedures provided in the ATN Administration Manual. An application fee of up to 50% of the Recognition Consultant’s fee will be charged by Jobs Australia to the member or shared between all members requesting the scope addition.
Copies of Nationally accredited courses
Industry specific National Training Packages can now be downloaded free of charge from www.ntis.gov.au An Administration Fee of $22 (inc GST) applies per CD ROM copy of nationally accredited course or Training Package supplied by Jobs Australia to a member.
